On the 23rd October we here at the Square celebrated our 24th birthday. It’s hard to believe it was back in 1990 when we first opened our doors to a crowd of 45,000 people.
We have lived through the recession and the boom and we are looking forward to our new state of the art extension which will get under way shortly.
We are delighted to be one of the longest running shopping centres in the country and one which is continuing to grow every day.
We would like to say a special thank you to our loyal customers that have continued to support us over the years.
We were delighted to celebrate our birthday after Oopsadaisy here on the Centre Mall with all the children and parents who came along. Our celebratory birthday cake went down a treat with everyone.
We also ran a special giveaway on our Facebook page to celebrate our 24th birthday. The prizes were a funky River Island bag and purse for the ladies and a 007 aftershave set and cocktail mixer for the lads.
There are exciting times ahead for us all, from our management to our tenants and of course our valued customers.
