Staff at The Square Towncentre Tallaght will take part in the “Climb for Crumlin” campaign this Saturday.

The team will be hoping to raise roughly €3,000 on the day to support a staff member of Specsavers Tony Power as he treks to the Everest Base Camp.

We spoke with store manager David Curran who is looking forward to getting involved in the day

“We are delighted to be taking part in this charity climb for Crumlin in aid of Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, it’s a great cause and hopefully it goes really well”.

Join the Specsavers Tallaght in store staff as they show their support by climbing the distance of Tony Power. Staff throughout Ireland will work together to equal Tony’s distance. Specsavers have again this year pledged to raise €100,000 for the ophthalmology unit at Crumlin.

If you wish to donate there will be buckets on the day for you to do so, or purchase your very own wish card that will be delivered to the Everest Base Camp. Wish cards cost €1.00 and Specsavers will match every €1.00 raised.

All funds will go to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin. So make sure you get down and support the team for this great cause!
