We are absolutely delighted to announce that An Bord Pleanala have granted permission for a major extension of the Centre. The new development will enhance and modernise the offering of the current centre and will allow us to continue to compete with the other large shopping centres around the M50. The implementation of the €40 million project will create over 300 construction jobs and add c.200,000 new.ft. of retail space that will employ over 400 new jobs on completion.

Discussions have already started with a number of interested parties for the anchor and medium space retailer users and with planning certainty the strategy and timeline for implementation of this important retail development can be actively advanced. The Centre has been rejuvenated with the ongoing support of NAMA in the past number of years with the introduction of a new management and retail strategy.

There have been many positive changes with a new 13 screen cinema and over 25 new brands being added, footfall has also seen substantial growth during this time. A lot of work is currently being done to improve the Centre and its facilities and this extension will greatly enhance our customer offer. This has only been made possible through the hard work of Indego, the holding company of the majority ownership and its funder Nama.

There are lots of challenges ahead of us but it will be an exciting phase in our journey to be the true town centre of Tallaght and a destination of choice for retail shoppers in Dublin.
