We were delighted that our new tree on Level 3 was unveiled last week as a Tree of Hope. It was an extra special day as the tree was the 50th Tree of Hope to be planted and we are honoured to have it here at The Square.

Noeleen Fulham who is involved with the organisation told us the reason behind the tree planting: “The Tree Of Hope is a symbol to all affected by a suicide or living with mental health issues to show we support you all. Our Hope is as the tree grows in strength and so too will the people hurting and as the branches reach out that people in a dark place will reach out and ask for help”.

The unveiling was attended by local Mayor Fintan Warfield who also sang for us to mark the occasion.

The Executive Director of the National Tree Council Of Ireland was also in attendance as it was National Tree Week Ireland last week. We were also delighted to have Olivia Luc sing and Charlie O’Connor read a poem for us.

Take the time out to visit the tree on Level 3 as it is an excellent place to gather your thoughts and remember your loved ones both past and present.
